Professional Statement
My therapeutic services focus on supporting individuals and families moving towards healing past and current trauma while building greater connection within themselves and with others in their lives. I work with preteens, teenagers, adults, and parents/caregivers in treating complex trauma, loss, and relationship issues. I also work with couples experiencing pre-marital and marital conflict along with parenting difficulties. My goal as a therapist is to provide my clients with a safe and trusting environment that allows space to heal and grow. My approach focuses on incorporating attachment-based, trauma-informed principles that are rooted in brain-based practices to meet client's mental health needs. My passion is to journey alongside individuals and families as they navigate the wide range of behavioral and mental health needs that arise from experiencing trauma.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I am an Associate Marriage and Family therapist in California. I have experience working with children, teens, adults, couples and families impacted by trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, ADHD and other life challenges such as relationship struggles and life transitions. I have training in trauma focused modalities, attachment based techniques, and inner child work. I incorporate humanistic, evidenced-based approaches to help clients build secure and connected relationships with themselves and others. I pride myself on the creativity I bring into my work and the ability to connect with my clients in an authentic way, utilizing humor and a relational focus. I value activating clients' personal strengths to help them build confidence in their healing journey.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
It is important to me to meet clients where they are at in life and provide a safe, inviting space where they can learn more about themselves and their unique strengths to help them heal and grow.
