What I consistently help people move toward is reclaiming themselves, restoring balance, and rebuilding lives that feel more aligned, connected, and whole. Not by becoming someone new, but by coming home to who they already are. You’ll reduce patterns that no longer fit, build steadiness, and reconnect with your feelings and needs in a way that feels sustainable and real.

About Constance:

If you’ve been holding a lot together for a long time, managing responsibilities, showing up for others, keeping things moving, while quietly running on empty, you’re not alone. . I work with adults in Fresno and across California, including LGBTQIA+ individuals, people in ethically non-monogamous, and those navigating kink who are capable, thoughtful, and resilient.

You’ve weathered a lot. You keep going. And at some point, that constant effort starts to cost more than it gives back. Many of the people I work with are exhausted from carrying so much internally: the pressure to not let anyone down, the strain of staying functional while feeling disconnected, the quiet anxiety that something will slip if they stop pushing. Often, these are people who don’t necessarily think of what they’ve lived through as “trauma.” It was just life, the norm, the way things were. Still, those experiences shaped how you learned to survive, relate, and care for themselves.

In our work together, we center on understanding what’s underneath the exhaustion. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), California License #76698, and the co-founder and Clinical Director of Relationship Counseling Center of California. Change tends to happen when you begin to recognize the core needs that haven’t been met and how long you’ve been adapting without support.

Together, we slow things down, build steadiness in the moment, and make space to understand yourself with more honesty and compassion. From there, it becomes possible to reduce patterns that no longer fit and move toward repair, restoration, and reconnection.

I work deeply with adults, LGBTQIA+ individuals, people in ethically non-monogamous relationships, and those navigating kink who are navigating burnout, disconnection, unresolved trauma, anxiety, relationship strain, and the weight of unmet needs. Together, we address the patterns that keep you exhausted and disconnected, even when you look like you have it all together on the outside. I help people who have been functioning on autopilot, people-pleasing, overextending, or ignoring their own needs for so long that they’ve forgotten what it feels like to live aligned with their values and desires. You don’t have to keep running on empty.

My approach is warm and direct, structured when things feel overwhelming, and adaptive to what you need session by session. My role is to be a steady witness and an active partner in this process. Therapy here isn’t rushed or surface-level. It’s intentional, real-world grounded, and deeply supportive. I help you slow down enough to recognize what you’ve been carrying, understand the core needs that drive your patterns, and make choices that align with who you truly are.

Constance’s Approach to Therapy

Constance’s therapeutic approach centers on understanding what’s underneath the exhaustion and recognizing the core needs that haven’t been met. Change happens when you slow things down, build steadiness, and make space to understand yourself with more honesty and compassion.
Understanding Unmet Needs
Many people come to therapy feeling exhausted, disconnected, and stuck in patterns they can’t break. Constance helps you recognize the core needs that haven’t been met and how long you’ve been adapting without support. Often, what you’ve lived through doesn’t feel like “trauma” because it was just life, the norm, the way things were. Still, those experiences shaped how you learned to survive, relate, and care for yourself. By understanding what’s underneath the exhaustion, you can begin to reduce patterns that no longer fit and move toward healing.
Building Steadiness & Slowing Down
If you’ve been holding a lot together for a long time, you’ve likely been moving fast, staying functional, and ignoring your own needs to keep things going. Constance helps you slow things down and build steadiness in the moment so you can make choices from a grounded place rather than autopilot. This isn’t about adding more to your plate. It’s about creating space to understand yourself with more honesty and compassion, which makes real change possible.
Warm, Direct, & Adaptive
Constance is warm and direct, structured when things feel overwhelming, and adaptive to what you need session by session. Her role is to be a steady witness and an active partner in your process. She doesn’t rush you or push you beyond what feels manageable. Therapy here isn’t rushed or surface-level. It’s intentional, real-world grounded, and deeply supportive. You’ll feel seen, heard, and supported as you work toward repair, restoration, and reconnection.
Repair, Restoration, & Reconnection
The goal of therapy with Constance is repair, restoration, and reconnection. Not by becoming someone new, but by coming home to who you already are. You’ll reclaim yourself, restore balance, and rebuild a life that feels more aligned, connected, and whole. This is a space designed for people who are ready to stop running on empty and start honoring their feelings and needs. At Relationship Counseling Center of California, we believe your feelings and needs matter.
LGBTQIA+ Affirming, Kink-Aware, & ENM-Informed
Constance provides affirming, knowledgeable therapy for LGBTQIA+ individuals, people in ethically non-monogamous relationships, and those navigating kink. She understands the unique challenges that come with living outside societal norms, including navigating identity, coming out, managing multiple relationships, negotiating boundaries in kink contexts, relationship agreements, jealousy, compersion, and the emotional labor of constantly explaining yourself. Whether you’re exploring your identity, working through relationship challenges in ethical non-monogamy, or seeking support around kink and BDSM, Constance creates a space where you don’t have to translate or justify who you are. Your relationships and identities are valid, and your feelings and needs matter.

Yes! I provide affirming, knowledgeable therapy for LGBTQIA+ individuals, people in ethically non-monogamous relationships, and those navigating kink. I understand the unique challenges that come with living outside societal norms, including navigating identity, coming out, managing multiple partner dynamics, negotiating boundaries in kink contexts, relationship agreements, jealousy, comparison, and the emotional labor of constantly explaining yourself to others. Whether you’re exploring your identity, working through relationship challenges in ethical non-monogamy, or seeking support around kink and BDSM, I create a space where you don’t have to translate or justify who you are. Your relationships and identities are valid, and your feelings and needs matter.
I’m the co-founder and Clinical Director of Relationship Counseling Center of California, and I’ve built this practice around the belief that your feelings and needs matter. My approach is intentional, real-world grounded, and deeply supportive. I’m a steady witness and active partner in the process, not just a passive listener. Therapy here isn’t rushed or surface-level. We slow things down, understand what’s underneath, and work toward repair, restoration, and reconnection. The goal isn’t to become someone new, but to come home to who you already are.
Sessions are conversational and collaborative. We’ll check in on how you’re doing, discuss what’s been challenging or what you’d like to focus on, and work together using various techniques based on your goals. This might include talk therapy, EMDR processing, skill-building exercises, or exploring patterns in your relationships. You’re never just sitting passively – this is active, engaging work we do together.
It varies greatly depending on your goals and what you’re working through. Some people find significant relief in 8-12 sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support. We’ll regularly check in on your progress and adjust as needed. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and we’ll work at the pace that feels right for you.
Yes! As an LCSW and Clinical Director, I provide clinical supervision for pre-licensed therapists (AMFTs, ACSWs, APCCs) who are working toward licensure in California. I supervise all the associates at Relationship Counseling Center of California. My supervision style is collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping you develop clinical skills, build confidence, and provide excellent care to your clients.
Yes, I accept most major insurance plans including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and others. You can view all accepted insurance here. I also accept cash paying clients.
Yes! Cash paying gives us more freedom in our sessions. They can last longer. It’s especially useful for relationship and poly sessions that way there is more time for everyone to get the most out of the sessions.
The therapeutic relationship is crucial to healing, so it’s important to find someone who feels right. I offer a free 10 minute consultation where we can talk about what you’re looking for, I can share more about how I work, and we can both get a sense of whether we’d be a good match. There’s no pressure or commitment, this would just be a conversation.
That’s completely normal and valid! Starting therapy takes courage. In our first session, we’ll take things at whatever pace feels comfortable for you.

You’re in control of what you share and when. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can be yourself. Many clients tell me they feel surprisingly at ease after that first session.
