Hello, I’m Quentina Johnson, a dedicated and compassionate AssociateProfessional Clinical Counselor with over 9 years of experience supporting individuals and families in navigating trauma, relational conflicts, and emotional distress. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and my Bachelor’s in Human Services from the University of Phoenix. I also co-founded the ‘To the Mat’ scholarship fund for children of veterans at the Central Valley Veterans. I believe in building a legacy, not just for my own family, but for the communities I serve, empowering individuals to elevate themselves and their relationships.
In my practice, I provide trauma-informed, culturally humble, and person-centered care. I am a Certified Trauma Professional and Trainer, as well as EMDR trained, utilizing evidence-based practices to guide clients toward healing and growth. I have extensive experience working in both clinical and child welfare settings, helping clients overcome the negative impacts of trauma and fostering healthier family dynamics.
My approach to therapy focuses on understanding the individual’s lived experience while recognizing that our behaviors often serve as protection mechanisms. I strive to create a space of safety and trust where clients can explore their challenges and work toward their goals in partnership with me.
As a Christian, I meet each client with care, consideration, and respect for their unique beliefs and backgrounds. Whether you're navigating personal challenges, trauma, or relational conflict, I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing and empowerment.
